The corporate social responsibility project of Watawala Plantations PLC bagged Bronze award at JASTECA CSR Awards for the first time. This project is about the Vocational Training Centre (VTC) of Differently abled people at Kenilworth Estate. This project empowers the differently abled people while providing an opportunity to develop their talents, earn income and enjoy recreational facilities. This is a true reflection of our professionalism and Leadership in every aspect of our business. This project ensures the development of our disabled plantations community. It’s a great honor to receive that award at the beginning of 2014 while driving our company beyond the excellence.
